| This 1924 neo Tudor Landmark, designed by architect Dwight James Baum, was restored to its original exterior condition in 1999 by Beyhan Karahan & Associates Architects. The history of the house and its architectural features were extensively researched to achieve a richly textured exterior reminiscent of its original glory as part of an exclusive enclave of spacious suburban residences for New York’s theatrical community. The interior of the building was divided into six spacious residential duplexes without altering the existing openings of the original facade. The building has recently been nominated for Lucy G. Moses Preservation and New York State Preservation League Awards. |
